Live Exports

There seems to be a total disregard
And an indifference
Animals Australia has shown us
This before
How animals are treated
Vindictively aggressively
Wickedness is clearly shown
And by your silence
More
And more its truly frightful
To see the animals suffer
This is criminality displayed
For all to see
They are blameless victims
Dumped in far off places
And it’s as if we had done it
Ourselves unfortunately

Look into their faces
Entering death’s door
By the gutter of resentment
What is that all for
Such shameless amorality
It’s Irreligious and profane
The people they are peccant
And some must be insane
It’s good for nothing evil
And a contravention of the laws
Yes yes once again

A Festival of sacrifice
Beaten bruised and stabbed
Whipped until they cry out
With rusty knives they are jabbed
Tied up and thrown like sacks of rubbish
These are living souls
They have feelings as you profess to have
But few controls
Cows you know they are beautiful
Gentle loving cows
Tied up in the backs of trucks
Never meant to house
Such a lovely animal
Who clearly is in pain
Whose eyes tell us she’s frightened
And under enormous strain

Sheep thrown in to wheelbarrows
So roughly,it’s so wrong
These a living thinking feeling souls
Who don’t belong
In such unlawful situations
Such improbity
It’s grotesque to witness this
Unbelievable cruelty

And these are Australian animals
The revulsion of it all
It is an abomination
Of course it does appal
Any thinking caring human being
So why not
You now get behind this
And not talk so much rot

Some of those poor sweet animals
The blood bath they observed
Was there’s I cannot imagine
That must make one unnerved
It couldn’t have been worse
The agony of it all
The farmers and the shippers
Somehow have the gall
To count their miserable dollars
And imagine all is well
When they shipped their
Innocent charges
On those ships direct to hell

Where is the humility
It’s humbling to know
As they were broken spirited
The bank balance did grow
It’s all about export figures
High fives and back patting stuff
Short lived my friends for karma
Has had about enough

Australia of course you will see
No matter what you do
Being unkind to animals
Means you are clueless too
For the goddess Hathor
Wife of Horus
Is much closer to you
Than ever you imagine
And Amun he is there
A great king you may not have heard of
Who finds this hard to bear
It’s gone beyond all human sense
What these insults for humans do
To animals from Australia
Yes my friends that’s you

You can feel that air
Of hopelessness
You can sense clouds of despair
Such despondency ill-omened
And, it’s just everywhere
Screaming people violence
It’s all done in the street
Where traffic carts and such aggression
Want now to compete

Imagine just one moment
You lying in a pool
Of your own blood
And the dull thud
As your heart begins to call
Time as life is leaving
Your eyes can still just see
Another knife comes into stab
Yes so brutally

Your life on earth is over
The green grass of before
The sunlight and the water
And in this awful war
The agony is too much
The ugliness is too
With memories of loved ones
Who never will see you

Sabre rattling terror
Trepidation and
Suicidal arrogance
The flames of hell are fanned
The summer land it beckons
Hopefully it might
Just allows us freedom
And some earned respite

The government of Australia
I do not appeal to you
I tell you from the bottom of my gut
What you must do
Stop this trade in animals
Stop it right away
We cannot let it continue
And make the animals pay

The price is far to awful
And karma knows it too
All the world is watching
At what you are going to do
Every child and every soul
Who ever saw a cow
Or sheep in green green pastures
Demands to know now how

For up there in animal heaven
A lot of them must be
Screaming out to their dear gods
To help them to break free
From this abomination
And this vulgarity
This plangency we hear so much
Into infinity

Very well put Rex! It’s so damned bad … they know exactly what will happen to them, and yet they still carry on. Money rules. If people cared as much about the animals as they do about money, it would be an incredibly nice planet.

  2. Rex Tyler says:

It is because the corporation deals in money it employs robots to work for them and brainwashes them to only want money at all cost I have just written another poem which explains that and gives a lead into why we might soon be doomed
