What is the world coming to ( a question on the lips of all who care)

Judgements clearly shot away
sanity no more
nothing really between one’s ears
except for blood and gore
and a totally unfair pairing
a rabid chained up hound
and a tiny cat and both on leads
and being pushed around
one man has the little cat
the other has the hound
both for a time are out of reach
but a kick or too has found

them closer and there’s contact
and the clawing frantic thrust
and the biting frightening jaws
clamp down on the cat’s head
in the dust
a little alarming clawing
but it soon is lost for sure
great big snarling teeth
clamp shut on the cat
who is no more

life has left its body
in a rage of hell it fell
those two trolls who held onto them
deserve a flight to Hell

for the life of me
how can they be
alive and in a state
of anything but total madness
what they did the fate
of those two animal earthlings
one trained there to fight
the other tried to get away
but was forced to try and bite

its way into a frenzy
but the dog had too much power
this was brutish behaviour
we could see that poor soul cower
down it didn’t want to fight
it knew it couldn’t win
it was dead before it was forced to fight
by those insane trolls whose sin

will take them where they have to be
hung up on some hook
for the vultures to tear strips from them
and for the rest of us to look
