Jamie Oliver’s frustration with a group of American kids and connective tissue and fat

Those of us committed to the animals,
we know
we feel their pain
their tears like rain
and rapidly we grow
closer to them
realizing what we have to do
is buck the trend
and try to end
the killing for its true

our children have been conditioned
to eat the gruesome, they
will eat the lungs the skin the bones
the nodules and they pay
lip service to the corporates
who junkify it all
every piece of connective tissue
and skin
that they can trawl
up from all the carcasses
and re form and then bread crumb
and package it and offer it
now its rule of thumb

some kids will now eat anything
no matter from where it came
conditioned by the chemicals
and the advertising game
and it is a game
a dangerous game
that the corporate media play
fooling with nutrition
just to make it pay
polluting a generation
for the profit they can make
diseased minds create mayhem
just for their own sake

Jamie did his experiment
but he didn’t realise
that he is part of what has happened
before his very eyes
the kids all put their hands up
they wanted what he’d cooked
corporate identities
most have now been hooked
into the great miasma
its all about the taste
its nothing to do with quality
nutrition’s been debased
