The Beagles came to London
to Aldwych which is where
The Indian High Commission is
their message they did share
they stood there all protesting
at Air India who thought
it good to transport animals
around the world
when caught
in forests
and in jungles
that it was a good idea
to transport them
to laboratories
to face such abject fear
it sort of was blood money
cargo rates for life
most airlines will not do this
because it causes strife
to the innocent
and therefore
why Air India reneged
on its agreement not to
nobody is sure
And so these brave young
Beagles
came to London Town
protesting against Air India
and just what’s going down
Peta was on hand to talk
to any passers by
and lots came to take photographs
which is really why
The Beagles came to London
and stood there for a while
we all hope that Air India
runs its show in style
deciding now to genuinely
stop this awful trade
in live animals for laboratories
how ever much they’re paid
