10 males and 6 females
have been released
in the last 4 months
to go back to the wild
an amazing feat of love and care
their lives reconciled
not to bars and cages
but the canopy of green
where they can hunt
and forage
and escape man’s big machine
in life there’s nothing better
than to be where you belong
these wild friends love the forest
its where they sing their song
however kind and thoughtful
we are
a cage is not
any place for Orangutan’s
but these 16 now have got
their dream back
I can just imagine
how excited they must be
up there with their wild friends
high up in the canopy
