Poem I wrote for my new friend Acul on his birthday

Bowdrops on noses
and whistle on mittens
light shining petals
and whiskers on kittens
heads on fresh salmons
as big as can be
my name is Acul
and I am happy
ricemilk warmed slowly
and whitakers mint creams
Ipads and Mac books
and digital day dreams
golden eyed owls
with the moon on their wings
please let me out of here
whilst rexy sings

robins red breasted
chew fat off the fat balls
ducks by the swings
up the park near those big pools
I love my mummy
I hope she does know
it is my birthday
and I love that so

when the cat waves in the window
that’s when I realise
the energies solar
and I just hate cola
and its been a lovely surprise
when the car stops
and his head pops
I quickly run up the stair
Bear’s on the printer
and as its still winter
gade cottage the place
that we share

bowdrops on noses
and salmons supposes
I’m off to the shard
up where the crowsies
I will see London oh! yes in the raw
today is my birthday
which I can’t ignore

younger flower pressee
and cucumber wedges
pea soup and pappadoms
burnt on the edges
inflatable worlds
I can blow up with air
this is the reason for me
being there

Happy Birthday Acul
Can be sung to T”hese are just some of my favourite things”
from the sound of music.
