Final Journey (for most)

All our short lives
we have been stuck
in cages full of shit
very often little water
a feathered hell, unlit
squawking fills our every moment
and the vilest air
ammonia and rotten food
and now they do not care
the egg places we come from
they cram us into every crate
ship us to the death camps
some of us can’t wait
to leave this earth
human beings
treat us like as though
we are unfeeling blobs of fat and skin
and they can throw
us out ,we were laying machines
and with ovi ductors broken
we now face the guillotines
hooked up to the carousels
of death alas its true
some are lucky the blade works
the others when they screw
their poor heads off their bodies
it is enormous pain
if re-incarnation happens
dont send me here again
