A live fish
being tortured
by some man
would draw some
rage
but commerce
murders billions
of them
its so hard to gauge
a response to such anomalies
but commerce does suggest
that when it comes to profit
pain is just no test
fishermen are crushing
millions in their nets
fish are being cut up
alive
those karmic debts
now happening
in kitchens
commercially are vast
cruelty seems inevitable
when commercial nets are cast
then employees do whatever
employers stipulate
crush male chicks
by the billion
sex them its their fate
fish still in their billions
are cut to pieces, they
are murdered even cooked alive
some will even pay
a higher price in China
and chef’s gets an accolade
for what is heinous cruelty
but for them
their stock in trade
