Hunt Saboteurs
are hero’s
hunters, not at all
toffs with a bad
attitude
who drive me
up the wall
most of them
just break the law
they reckon that they’re
right
The Saboteurs are
there to save the foxes
they’re the light
that shines across
the ragged fields
and helps the fox escape
by changing scents
and making sense
of the aristocratic rape
of wild souls in their habitat
and the bunch of hungry hounds
who will tear the fox to pieces
to the ugliest of sounds
the tally Ho
the jodhpurs
the red starched coats
they wear
that’s those toffs with
attitude
with caps and whips
to scare
those who dare to take
them on
get sworn at often and
all that they are doing
is protecting fox and land

The Saboteurs are hero’s
and we should thank them they
go out on the cold and windy
fields and they do pay
a lot for they believe
our wild life
is sacrosanct and should
always be protected
and I would, if I could

and so I hold them in esteem
and proudly say to you
the hunter with the attitude
is the clueless ruffian who
the police should sling in to the cells
and throw away the key
