Just 6% hunt in the great USA
they stand up for cruelty, everyday
in fact buying into the gun lobby lot
buying their guns and their bows
well they’ve got a sort of direction
the add on’s they buy, I suppose
create a fair market and that’s
why these men
slaughter and kill,but honestly when
in a compassionate world will the others say no
and safeguard the wild folk where ere they go
for, for people with guns to kill as they please
means they really can’t see the wood from the trees
habitat loss hurts us all in the end
its a right that the rest of us must now defend
its a very sick pastime to hunt and to kill
other dear earthlings, to get that cheap thrill
nothing is cheap about death, its so crude
to ambush wild souls in a way almost lewd
innocence truly the hunters just scorn
living in places, where they were born
where they were put by creation to be
not to be ambushed and killed, but to see
their lives out together, and live off the land
which the 6% hunters just don’t understand
animal earthlings do have their place
and slaughtering them is the truest disgrace
humanity looks at this 6%, and
knows that in fact they are raping shared land
the 6% hopefully will sometime soon
see sense and appreciate under the moon
we share, are the forests and in them the souls
who must be allowed to live out life’s goals
for each provides balance its what life’s about
and hunting them down, puts it all into doubt
