Stephen Harper a plea from a great leader

Stephen Harper
let me now suggest something
to you
you need to meet with Chief Theresa Spence
whatever else you do
Native lands are sacred lands
and you and others best
realise this fact sir
and let this be a test
lakes and rivers have to be
protected, its your role
they are the very arteries
that wash into our soul
selling off reserve lands
is a crime that can’t go through
humanity is watching
and its also crying too

You sir, must remember
the wise one’s took their place
they were the greatest guardians
there was no loss of face
they have an enormous following
from their families around the world
and must be in quandry in the maelstrom
in which she’s hurled
and that she’s on hunger strike
is torturing her so
which none of us do like
She’s deep inside herself tonight
her soul aches as we know
her heart is bleeding for
us all as sir and it is set to grow
and all you have to do, sir
is sit down by her side
listen to all that she says
just let her confide
for she has held the mantle
for many years and, she
needs your support for her belief
“idle no more” can be
a positive direction
and from it some relief
must be on the table
for these wise souls
don’t need grief
they need to be
respected for all the work
they do
that has helped Canada
to succeed
so I now leave it to you

to please make contact with her
before its too late
