We need a safer way to cross the road from the Holiday Inn to the Mall

From the Holiday Inn to the Shopping Mall
a main road runs
the cars
are driving most at break neck speed
and I mights as well be from mars
for the local Mayor to worry
I get no help from him
Traffic Lights would clearly help
and its not said on a whim
it would be very helpful for
Hotel guests and me
I could cause an accident
if I tried to cross you see
the shops could get more business
everyone would be
happier and safer
Which the local Mayor should see

And so I do appeal to you
I’m infact trapped because
trying to get across the road
everyday it was
too dangerous no cars even slow down
so a crossing we do need
Mr Mayor if you are there
I do hope when you read

This you will consider my request
it has seriously curtailed my ability to spend money at the Mall
a set of lights would not be too impossible and a serious accident is waiting to happen be sure of that
