How sad that we did forfeit our wildness and then deny others wildness

Wild beings
once upon a time
we all enjoyed
that role
we shared this wondrous planet
with every living soul
Human beings sadly became
desensitized and they
lost much of their value
and have made the others pay

Freedom is the way to show
Animal Earthlings
that we are
a race of souls
that care and not feel
envious we are all on par

Every living breathing
soul
can never be
a just resource
for man to toy with
in his circus
in shared forests
and to force
a way of life
or of death
upon
this is to me
a sign
that we have slipped
down many feet
into a sharp decline

we must not stand by and listen
to such drivel that
some speak
wild beings have as much right
as any being
meek
or mild
or ignorant out there
We are all children, who
are created in a different form
with the same rights
and we do

appreciate each other
learn to live at peace
learn to love each other
and learn to find release
no group has dominion
over others who
were wise enough to
continue on their
wild road all life through

I’m humbled by their presence
by their majesty for they
live their lives much closer
to their being, any way
they profit from survival
they profit from their soul
they understand their being
they have mantained control

for man to reach a level
that contorts his thoughts
and he
decides to use the other nations
souls so wastefully
to entertain his offspring
by parading around some ring
or chains them to the forest
as slaves to help him bring
or slaughters them in their billions
to chomp upon their flesh
or keeps them holed up in
vile cages and through
rusty mesh
throws bits of other bodies
in so they will be
able to present their skin and
their fur
successfully

Who decides to hunt and kill them
for sport, for trophies and
for ceremonial bearskins
for handbags, I can’t stand
this futile loss of beings
this evil they possess
to market these wild beings
and gives them lives of stress

I find it hard to come to terms
with the ignorance of man
and his arrogance afore thought
which really doesn’t scan
but now he claims dominion
over every living soul
and this will of course end in
his destruction, for the role
begets a higher arrogance
from those who have the power
to subjugate those others
who in their ghetto’s cower
I see a correlation its rampant
and its here
what we have done to others
will be done to us
best fear

the worst for it is coming
not from the vanquished souls
they remain as docile
despite the deepening holes
they find themselves in daily
their destruction without trace
but their wisdom is far greater
than the so called human race
sacrifice is evident as a great means
to an end
and when man does destroy himself
wild beings will defend
the cause, and this time around
will see that no group
rules the world
but each will share the environments
in which they have been hurled
