Palm oil the new nightmare

Once there was a dream
and it was Palm oil
now the forests gone
its turned into
a nightmare of such really huge
proportions
nothing to create eternity
sadly
money in the banks
but tragically
an eco storm is brewing far away
as the animals and the indigenous
are losing out,
the planets lungs are clogged
and we all pay

Burning peat land
carbon emissions
the environment does cry
Rainforests, were vibrant
when torn down
all did die
arrogant politicians
should bow their heads
in shame
so guilty
they will pay the price
Oil palm yes by name
flooding, that’s the next thing
the mangroves sadly lost
the nightmares are all growing
Can we afford the cost?

they took us all for granted
and now all of us pay
they thought more of their personal wealth
abd little of their childrens health
we suffered and we suffered every day
The bankster classes
brought us fear
destroyed environments
around here
logged and burned the wood
with ease
and really brought us to our knees
