On the Ghan, I met an angel
Anthony his name
a gentleman I hold in high regard
He made no claim
Front Line Staff
thats what he was
and went the extra mile
He was loving, caring, thoughtful
sharing
and always wore a smile.
The Ghan is one great engine
rolling stock of old
Equipped with customers services
Platignum, Red and Gold
Anthony was special
he treated me so well
Disabled
He enabled
me to experience
and to tell
you all how much that Ghan, the train
The journey, was and I
Can say that he was one hell of a real
fantastic guy
The journey it was epic
that ofcourse is true
But Anthony epitomises
the Ghan, and he all through
earned his stars,
he became my friend
he cared, he truly cared
and though disabled he enabled
me to truly spend
a wondrous kind of experience
aboard the honoured Ghan
to the Bosses of Australia Rail
He is one special MAN.

For what I know of this man they call Rex, I can tell you this poem is so factful. This is a man that speaks from his heart, this poem is far from fictional.
Where ever we go or shop it is always the treatment we receive that touches us and we always remember always so employers out there Look after these very special members of your team and just know the impressions and success are not always about the Advertising or Marketing of your Companies but the first impressions of the staff you employ So look after them Patricia Teunissen.
How much I agree with you Patricia this chap gave of himself so that my journey was the best it could be,quietly probably without the knowledge of his bosses, you are so right these angels should be regarded as such and looked after, thank you for expressing such wise words on my blog
