Wintering Whooping Swans

The melody of the moment
A Cacophony of soul
Whooping,trooping,stooping
grouping and such pure control
Flight, up and away, they go
Wintering they chose
Mazadaran province
The Caspian Sea which shows
Instinctively, it grips each heart
Where the coastal plains and the
mountains start
Hyrcanian forests such repose
Where the eyes see
The mind follows
And their voices reach into our brain
And move us to another plain
A realization of miraculous worth
These children sharing, Mother Earth
The wealth Iran has mustered here
Clearly a great resource
A rare and just creation
A truly wondrous force
The Whooping swans have majesty
And choose to winter here
A truly natural habitat
For them this time of year.
