a tree trunk that’s
hollowed by termites
for you
beautifully painted
and 2 metres long
circular breathing
from lungs that are strong

Eucalyptus is used or
Stringy Bark Trees
They select what they
feel will make
sound that will please
Its the sound of Australia
Cultural treasure
Aborigini’s know this
It is hard to measure

The great contribution
of their history
On the land that was really
aboriginie
Great freedom to roam
Their sustainable ways
They lived their part well
All of their days

They never took more
Than they needed to live
Their passion was constant
And how they did give
So much to the land
To the bush where they were
And the anthem of source
Is their eternal spur
