The Darkly hush

Despite so called advances
in world medicine
And the huge numbers
of animals that we’ve seen
Sacrificed to supposedly protect
the corporate hoods
And all their little subsidiaries
churning our their goods
The cleaning stuff, the cosmetics
The pesticdes and more
Experimentation must happen
Its a vastly growing war

Its carried on from year to year
The numbers always rising
I million or so in 45
But the figures are surprising
120 million vertebrates do die
Animal testing is profitable
And ofcourse the margins high
Experimentation is everywhere
Cages are stacked high in the air
Innocent babies locked up all their lives
At the will of the white coats
with hammers and knives

The vertebrates taking a hit
everyday
Adversity reigns as does dismay
The media’s blind told to keep away
As more and more animals
with their lives pay
The figures have blasted out
it makes no sense
And feelings in fact on the street
are intense
Everyone knows its not on
There are ways
To test products actually
this dark malaise
Causing what is a culpable rush
Thats making the Pharmceuticals blush
For animals afterall they have no choice
Neither do any of them have a voice
Trapped and shipped
Caged and killed
and nobody cares
What blood is spilled
Whose splitting hairs
Those people who do
Use Animals Rights
And are singled out too
and called Terrorist shites
For they threaten
to stir up the dumbed down
those who
Went through their school systems
And so know what to do
Listen to orders
shut up and obey
Or we are coming to take you away
The animals die Universities are
Places where murder is not very far
Away, in laboratories they are the one’s
With their scalpels nano tech
and their gene guns.
