Bugs and Super Bugs

Science once again
and lots of arrogance
The Corporates in the pot
for what they can
Get out of a problem
of their making
The superbugs
relationship with man

Every little cold
some want a “magic pill”
The sink, the kitchen worktop
and the floor
The toilet there are bugs
that share our home with us
Which years ago
Most of us did ignore

And then the corporate clowns entered the circus
BIO wipes,and anti biotic gel
soaps and pastes and mouth washes
impregnated blankets,honestly
They made it a hard sell
Which should have made us realise
but few around
Saw what they were doing
in the shops
They just went and bought all of it
The good bugs gone the bad ones shone
Expecting they were  tops

For the bad bugs and worse still bugs to come down on us hard
And we’re losing our defences
that would have been on guard
I can’t believe that housewives
were so gullible
Seeing adverts and rushing out to buy
I can’t believe the Corporates were so
arrogant
Putting out these variants to try
Presumably the doctors thought it useful
Prescribing antibiotics all the time
For really what was trivia
The body would have sorted it
But now of course the bad guys start their climb
The meat eating majority are getting large
amounts
The factory farm environment has many sad accounts
Of bugs just running havoc and so its deemed they must
Be adequately protected again this does disgust
For it actually makes the animals gain weight
with margins high
at a cost to the consumer whose is now wondering why
E Coli is resistant
A battle  far and wide
Hundreds of sad patients they get sicker
Came in with a bad toe and they died
Is there now an answer well everybody’s made
a killing thats for certain
Thats now been relayed
What can now be done about it
Just use commonsense
Wash yourself and clean your nails
And just don’t get so tense
