Blood Money

a monkey in a test tube
its fur shaved off because
Electrodes must be fitted
Why it ever was
wild in some dark jungle
when its clearly better off here
undergoing torture
behind closed doors
in fearWhite coats men of Science
used brutal nasty ways
in the pockets of the Corporates
their bloodied souls they raise
Experiments that are testing
On Mascara for the hags
Or cleaner for some toilet
or to polish leather bags
A mother’s torn out of a tree
and her little baby dies
So as Corporates can torture
her
a wild soul that was wise
Is sacrificed, her baby
sacrificed as well
But who cares when there’s money
to me made and shit to sell.

Its seems to me they have us
by the bollocks
Animals are as sentient and feel
But they dont get the message
with blood money
in their bank accounts
and the animals have no right
of appeal
If we supportive humans
try to free them
or write about them
Our criminality
is shown to be out side the rules
and we must go to jail
and suffer for what is depravity.
