can sometimes attract
a negative owner
whose guile and whose tact
is really to pose
as an admirer and to
take on an earthling
but torture it
who?
in their right mind would do this
but that is the thing
they are not in their right mind
and thus they may bring
to the table a weirdness
a sick point of view
aiming for pleasure
from torture
to do
this to an animal
given away
is a vile contribution
making it pay
a price
sort of lost in a sense
straight away

check
give it thought
giving your pet away
take very great care
for the pet just might pay
with its health or its life
be safe and be sure
and be careful okay
