Womanhood (its value is immense) we overlook this factor at our peril

In India and China Womanhood appears
to still be in the doldrums
its shadow through the years
cast across the spectrum
daughters thought to be
a drain on the families overall
true prosperity
like a mushroom cloud it surfaced
in the dark ages before
and carried on polluting
the minds, thus at the core
of every birth and marriage
daughters realised
that pressure was apparent
they were disenfranchised
this outmoded cerebration
of the a patriarchy state
the female of the species
was easy to berate
discrimination followed
and really till today
the underlying problems
they haven’t gone away
we all know many million
were done away with, they
slaughtered by their mothers
they just were cast away
a sick soulless decision
based on inaccuracies
on prejudice and evil
which few dared to appease
and so their timeless value
was lost and so to say
is still lost for humanity
has yet to find a way
rape and molestation
happens every day
a vile crime oft of passion
of anger and dismay
but sadly in many cases
the victim suffers so
and the perpetrators
do not receive the sentence
that does go
with the crime that was committed
the victim has to be
subjected to such abject pain
and also scrutiny
recently some headline cases
went viral and we know
how terrible were these attacks
such venom it did flow
authority still weighted
against the female force
its not seen as expedient
it kind of takes its course
and causes pain to victims
and embarrassment and they
are seemingly then tainted
by the system so to say
recently a 5 year old
has fallen victim to
a savage and a vile attack
a parlous and dire brew
there are no words to
really describe this evil act
and of course all thinking people
rapidly react
to clearly what’s obnoxious
but hanging in the air
is still this sick miasma
with thick clouds of despair
womanhood has value
our mothers are our world
their sacrifice is so immense
without their love we’re hurled
headlong into being
their mindfulness their care
they are the mortar
giving strength
to everything out there
respect and love is paramount
equality of thought
the maiden and the mother
she has always taught
us all to know our place in life
her guidance and her soul
without her in our lives
to be our shadow and control
all would be less able
and thus we dare not forget
or pass up what her value is
and ever truly let
her power be taken from her
a victim she is not
women hood is for the good
for really we have got
a perfect and a faultless soul
who nurtures and who shares
tirelessly she works away
and tragically she bears
a great deal of the stresses
but is undervalued by
the systems now in place out there
and she’s right, to ask why

The killing of girl babies
is a heinous crime and, we
as human beings everywhere
must stop this and agree
those patriarchal prejudices
must be buried instantly
respect love and protection
and equality of soul
has to now be given
to all those who fit this role
never underestimate
the power of womankind
their quality and reasoning
is the most balanced
we will find
