The western end of the black country
Stourbridge that’s the place
has taken quite a battering
fire came at a pace
all these idiot barbecues
where land is fiercely dry
Sparks are clearly obvious
and pets so many die
houses burned a lot of people
living there took heed
some lost almost everything
for arrogance does lead
others to lose everything
the heatwave took its toll
families lost their everything
