Dolgellau

The intensity of the evening

the soft blush,

every nuance

the alabaster houses

in the golden light

Hollywood resplendent

holding kind of cadmium shadows

embroidered onto linen

pursuant to the night

behold the wondrous mountains

lets contemplate the obvious

seen from dear Awelfa

whose peacefulness is mine

A stillness leaves the bushes

each stalk a revelation

so peaceful and so gentle

luxuriance beyond

exhibiting a spectacle

Of which  tonight  I am fond
