To live and walk through
this ancient place
is like going back in time
over the bridge into the square
you can imagine ancestors there
dark stone fronts
and ancient houses
close your eyes
and dream awhile
the clatter of the
carts and horses
a market town with
so much style
Cader Idris
guards the skyline
The wnion underneath it flows
for many a Mile
its as if you are going
back in time
misted knowing
Forest lanes
Eldon Square
a meeting place
To shops of interest
That just sit there
tourists drawn from every which way
the Royal Ship Hotel
a place where
one can sit on the stone cobbles
And enjoy a pint
of ale
And share
The mountains
giants they protecting
summits closer to the clouds
bear witness
houses
