Cows

For ten thousand years
cows have been grazing

with their four stomachs

and their balls of cud

exceedingly sensitive

All that they  eat

And the wild herbage

that helps them compete

with toxins and medicines

spread or’e the field

a balance of nutrients

they tend to build

an expectation

with water which they

so fifty gallons

they need everyday

a foretaste of herbals

they contemplate

when they are under the weather

in an eidetic state

they can supplement

and this they do

foresight and a foreboding

which is seemingly true.
