Often the retort from ignorant purchasers in the meat trade

The ignorant they are quick to retort
We go to a small butcher
Somehow they thought
He would be kinder
It’s bloody wrong
Many are buying slaughterhouse
And belong
To viciousness and horror
We see it every day
Despite government inspectors
Who look the other way
