Shot at Dawn down on the farm

Slaughter carried out on farm
Thats the way to go
Be shot at home
In earshot of your friends
All of them know
You are dead now
You are devoid of life
Hanging by a chain
You are going to be cut up
By a farmer whose insane
How grotesque this happening
Evil through and through
So the meat eaters among us
See bits of us on view.
In a pretty package
Labelled on a farm
We were living yesterday
Our world was kind of calm
Led out to the open air
Imagining the green
And shot at close range by the man
Mortally obscene
