We all have our place on this precious earth

Where we live and die
as human beings
all of us are surrounded by
sweet souls
wild they come from many
other species
but all have found their place
and their own roles

The Natural World is aware
and it controls things
the Natural order
and their habitat
provides the cover, the food
and life
for every single being
a distinct place
with their apportioned strife

I don’t accept
that they need to face
each other
territories clash sometimes
we know
but warring on the basis
that we humans take upon ourselves
is not what helps our planet earth
to grow

wherever we are born
the divine placement
created there a store cupboard and we
should so respect and live within
its boundaries
not venture in and slaughter
aimlessly

The Seals, the Whales
The Dolphins and the Elephants
The Tiger and The Rhino’s
have their place
each to his own
that is well know
and a good adage to
remember when we’re
pretending that we
do know what we do

hunting and harpooning
slaughtering for we
are after making profit
from well, the ivory
the blubber and tiger bones
the rhino horn but we
are stealing from a life force
that was not put here to be

damaged in such process
man exceeds his power
there is no rhyme or reason
always to deflower
to bring some sweet old innocents
to extinction as we are
but thereby creates an imbalance
which shows how daft we are
