Nurses work on Christmas Day

Getting to the hospital
Might be an hour away
An all night shift
The stresses of family life
Let’s pay
Attention to these angels
Each face of smile and joy
Concerned about their own families
Yes, the NHS employ
Angelic souls all ages
Young trainees obviously
Older angels soulful lasses
Working constantly
Patients needs are many
Family and nurses star
on hand to give
And serve with verve
That is who they are.
