Evening Sunlight on rooftops sparkle

As the sun begins to set

the towns  roofs remarkably

twinkle from the mountain tops

the old town marvellously

is illuminated

the white walls

and grey  stone

nestled in the valley

this place has been known

for centuries  the wool trade

the hides and then the way

fat collected from the sheep

they made candles with

to say

this little town is gorgeous

so many listed places

surrounded by the river

the mountains and the forces

the forests
all those Douglas Firs

and genuine Christmas Trees

a live market on Fridays

independent shops

tourism the common thread

just pull out all the stops

to see this wonderful sunset

the blue skies giving way

to what truly is a September song

Dolgellau land of  the fey
