The music of consumption

Can we see

with our nose

can we think with our ears

when the suns on the grass

Does it bring us to tears
it does in the depths

where  few far awayMay see a small butterfly

It’s tongue on this day

the nectar of petals

a solemn desire

A Hare wants to share

is prepared to leap higher

do we sigh with our soul

do we rigidly feel
does that ache in our bones

that some might conceal

Can frustration be ours
a poignant remark
can we sit on the fence
and sing with the Lark

Dare we compete

will our

throats be too dry
if we had feathers

then could we fly

or fall off the fence

and just cry.
