Freedom

A glorious Condor

And mountains that soar

across  the divides

in his minds  eye

a raw

sight for his soul

in  so many ways

what Stone Age man saw
we still see these days

so little has changed

Nature is true
a beautiful sky

the Quechua

Are sure

The caldera’s

are why

crops grow so well

for minerals  abound

from a volcanic spell

Down deep ln the ground

hark the sweet pan flutes

the melodic voices

High in the Andes

so many choices.

so many friends

Such beautiful light

I have been there and breathed there

and I know that I’m right
