Country Life

Country Life
Is about observing
Wild Life
As one drives home
At night
Through Ashridge
At a slower speed
We can see
The foxes
We can see the Deer
We can see the Badgers
Yes All three
Exceptionally beautiful
Wild souls of the wood
Country Life
Is about observing
Wild life
For we should

Appreciate their being
And by being caring they
Live where they were put by their god
They are never in our way
The fact that we have hunters
With hounds who chase and kill
Foxes
Such an evil task on which they get their thrill

Deer those gentle beings
Beautiful to see
Able to live out in the wilds
Despite the infamy
The shooters than come hither
To sell their venison
Their dead flesh to the locals
Another real sad con

And then of course
The Badgers
Handsome souls who tend
To live in setts and bring up families
None of them pretend
They are wild and beautiful
Again our dairies blame
Them for causing BTB
Wild you see this game

And the government go along with it
And the milk drinkers them too
Believing they should steal the milk
From calves yes it is true
Calves are killed and eaten
Mother raped again
The calves once more are kidnapped
This world it is insane.
