The Worlds water supply is coming to be critical in many areas

Water is the new oil
I can now see that
we waste so very much
of it each day
some of the largest lakes
are being depleted
and rivers too
which at this rate
no way

can we continue
fracking for the wastage
of water there is
frighteningly high
600,000 gallons to
5 million
in just one frack alone
that is sky high

the aquifers are also
taking some stick here
water is now being
lost lets say
something has to be done
and done pretty fast
if the world is to continue
on today

to waste it and pollute it
it is sinful
a pure resource
that every being needs
and this pure source
and a huge force
combined with nasty
chemicals
is used to break
the marcellus shale
of course

what comes back is
an evil stew of chemicals
waste that cannot be drunk e’re again
it cannot ever be used on our
food crops
in fact this energy search
is just insane

Governments have not yet woken
up to it
the science no one really knows
about
the oil and energy
is the thing now that we see
but the use of water
really cannot be

and where have they been taking
all this water
out of lakes and rivers
at low cost
and what has happened to
it, its polluted
and has to be got rid of
at some cost

Fracking is a wasteful
dirty business
we have to reign it in
and do it soon
water is more important
that the corporate
profit margins
let’s those fat cats
play another tune
