Tallow and honey

Our discharge organ
A vast skin deployment
My disinclination
To reluctantly
Select two ingredients
Rendered Beef fat
Dripping refined
A slaughterhouse death
From a sweet life
That be
Out on the grass
A ruminant excitedly
Siphons the greenery
Wild florals too
A life brought to
What was a vile termination
Dead flesh and finally
Rendering through

Honey the miracle
Of the industrious
Honey bee’s magical
Labour of love
A discernment collecting
The myriad tokens
The meticulous wonder
Removed with such sense
Mixed with the tallow
Feverish methods
An obnoxious rendering
Sadly for me
Tarnished and degraded
So unheroic
A misunderstanding
Such audacity

A ruminant mother
Doctored with craziness
A real effrontery
A blatancy
Abusing a life form
A horrid departure
Into an arrogance
Which is for me

The end of a mother her time
Her destruction
And the magical bee
Food of the gods At the behest of
Remedials
Two paths to nowhere
a dead end
All I see.
