Fishy friends

When we talk
of fish as friends
This is where
our story ends
Fish and meat
and milk and more
It’s what they eat
and drink for sure
It’s food it’s milk
it’s flesh it’s skin
They are carnivores
which does underpin
Their very existence
they do not see
The correlation
tragically
Life and death
and blood and guts
And animal families
that’s when it shuts
Down
their rabid guts they fill
Corpse munching
yes their lifetime thrill
