When cancer strikes

Imagine losing one’s front legs
To Cancer
Born with 4 legs
And having to make
Do with just two
Nothing at the front
It’s going to be hard
But it’s so worth a punt
Suffering clearly
Has taken it’s toll
On my heart on my gait
And of course on my soul
Will you still love me
Hopefully so
For I still love life
Which I want you to know.
