So many shit storms in this world

So many shit storms in this world
At present electric cars
BEV’s or so they are called
Batteries that can ignite with fire
Drivers must be schooled
In truthfully how dangerous
The lies about them told
I shall stick to my diesel
I mean it’s five years old

E V’s cost a fortune
Claims are higher too
It takes longer for repairs
Recovery, it’s true
Even a slight shunt somewhere
A battery on the blink
It can cause a major fire
With the cost that’s going to sink

Most of us for certain
The mean weight on the road
Without high voltage gloves on board
Fuck the Highway Code
Flat bed trucks for recovery
It’s complex and it’s wrong
Breaking down on the motorway
Is where no one should belong
