Blake

He was not a campaigner
For he took the view
Both sides had merit
A bit like Lao Tzu

He felt he’d transcended
Escaping from all
Perspective, not singular
He got the call

To speak to us all
Where ever we stood
He was never a fool
He always felt good

His perspective was he
Studied both camps he be
Whatever it was
The combined energy

Where his argument stood
Fair and square
it was there
Which for him then was good

He could see with his soul
Where it all became real
Ideas he had them
He really could feel

The world flat or round
Constructions of mind
For him both seemed sound.
It’s where he could unwind.
