Snow

The morning after
A day of snow
A stillness
In repose
The tall trees
In the distance
Seemingly have chose
Togetherness and thoughtfulness
Under a dormant sky
Humility and purpose
To An odd mapie passing by
Winters vast extremes
Demand
Extra care the birds
Clearly cope roosting somewhere
Never lost for words
