Samhain Eve

The deer wet through and turning
Tousled & torn they be
Shuffling uneasy
For clearly they r free
Staring into headlights
Lost souls might I say
Ravaged by a wintry lash
Their eyes were forlornly
All over the place
This Samhain night
A hazard seemingly
