Bow hunters

Cowering skulking in the cover

waiting for wild souls to be

in the line of fire

the lily livered

camouflaged  and we

see their ugliness on facebook

all the gear

and all the face

audaciousness

Plenty  of that,  sadly

unconcerned
what a  sick disgrace

are you starving

is there the need

to ambush an angel

wanting to feed

they in the wild

their given place

and you come by

its your disgrace

its your coldness

your listless thought

its a friend of yours

its never a sport

to hide your face

and cover your soul

and murder a beast

with a valid role

the thump of an arrow

in its side

It’s eyes  a closing

you have denied

its shorter life

its family

its love of the forest

And being free

your unconcern

your apathy

dark inertia

yes it be

Discrimination

A impassive feel

unaspiring you conceal

your human body

an aversion for

its gleaming eyes

you were never sure

how he might react

might charge you down

and in his mighty antlers drown

thrown every which way

bloodied you

so hiding yes what you did do

was abuse your power

still his gait

watch your arrow

know his fate

my repugnance

it is clear

your conscience

it is ramped up fear

such irreverence and

imperturbability

you took for granted

what we can see

a victim

The brute of course  was you

You are  nothing remarkable

that much is true

all our combined love being for the victim

eyes closed soul drifting high the forest
