just a little thought

Do tears fall like
the rain for a good reason?
emotions well up in us
and we weep
do we really feel much
better for them
or do we feel in essence that
they sweep
us off our feet
a bit
and take us
somewhere
where in fact
we didn’t want to go
rolling down our cheeks
they came as a surprise
sadness overcomes a man
with laughter in his eyes
a love of one particular soul
who matters
but who may not truly
ever realize
the agony and pain
that takes his breath away
the hours in every day
that make him smile
is weeping considered
a weakness maybe it is you know
but I am going to do it for a while
