that’s till you hear about
Chief Saundooke Bear Park
vile concrete bear pits
on show
the keepers untrained
unreliable stance
waste these dear souls
every day
fed on white bread
which gives them the shits
and the stench for a bear
just no way
can a bear, thats a wild soul
that forages for
put up with a life such as this
hosing the shit down
it won’t do a thing
and for bears this is something
to miss
they go
barmy for sure
biting the bars
such frustration
they break their teeth
and what’s more
then its infection
and madness and onwards
those great big critters
defiled
rocking their heads
no hay to sleep on
all of this hastle
is piled
onto them and they can’t stand it
and eventually of course
they breakdown
and go mad
and that’s when they’re shot
and eaten, it’s sad
PETA is onto it thankfully
now
and hopefully this place
will close
and the bears can be
re housed in areas
where they can forage
for where they are now
it just shows
wild souls need space
they need really good food
a balance if they are to be
taken from places out in the wild
and thrust into captivity
