The great forgotten

The Podenco like the greyhounds
And the galgos
Suffer so
For in SPAIN
There is much pain around
As the countries name does show
The so called Spanish hunter
Is as unlawful as could be
Transgressing so much further
Than even I could see
Overstepping laws
Killing without thought
Being the judge and jury
And not caring for naught

A principle of evil
Where amorality
Is riddled through each common cell
With such depravity
Hunting dogs are murdered
In such awful ways
Their slippery slope to hell is reached
It’s how they end their days
Often on a short chain
Chasing rabbits is the thing
Never fed or watered
When their hunting
So as this to bring
A keener sense of wanting
To kill to eat to drink
They torture and they butcher
And they take them to the brink

Hunters drown their hunting dogs
As the season ebbs
They have given all their body strengths
Gone to untold lengths
To please the ogre hunter
The heartless brutish vile
And their reward is torture
That’s the hunters style
Their abomination
Their iniquity
Tie their charges to a tree
And leave them there to be
Hungry starving scratching at the ground
Screaming until
Their hearts give out
Their brain dries ups
And all their blood does spill

Hunters hunting souls
Of bygone horrors let us say
Killers and marauders
Whose face to face display
Evil of such ugliness
And no guilt none at all
The podenco cries to ANUBIS
Who must answer his call

Lying in his urine
In his feces where he stays
When hunting he get no food no water
Left in a stark craze
Chasing down those rabbits
Forcing them to be.torn from limb to limb
And their flesh sucked out frantically

Hunters are inhuman
In everything they do
Their dogs report to ANUBIS
Who tries to bring them through
Humanity and hopefully
Into a seraphic space
Where after all the torture
They are lost without a trace
Into a rainbow bridge
A utopian canine world
Where murders and deceit is banned
And where love and care are hurled
Where kindness and where devotion
And where all hunters are banned
Forever which means never ever
Will their fires be fanned
