Pirates

I have always thought it
Counter productive
To call a positive emissary
By such a negative title
A brigand on the sea

Basically a rapist and murderer
And a thief
So to call yourselves by that name
It does beggar belief

The feng shui system in China
And a pedigree
Exists to bring a message home
Of what we are and we

Calling ourselves pirates
Or brigands or the like
Are allying ourselves to a negative
To a brigand to a tyke

And it must have come from Hollywood
But in fact still to this day
Somali’s are raping and killing
From small boats and I say

For SEA Shepherd to take on the
Skull and crossbones
well for me
to do things meant to be positive
From negativity

Lowers the moral fibre
And excites the fiction here
It gives all the wrong messages
For me thats very clear

But it seems I am in the minority
But besides that still I say
There are better things to align oneself with
Than Pirates
