At Larry Brownings Pendleton
County Farm we hear
Has lots of neglected horses
And it seems very clear
Many still in halters
Very little hay
Pools of water everywhere
Its not deemed as okay
He says that he’s a trader
Now for fifty years
And because he has so many
People just drop them off and
His fears
Were he could not keep up with all the
Lame horses he got
And looking at the video
Clearly theres a lot
And most have been neglected
Their ribs seen sticking out
To me it shows such unconcern
And whats it all about
All around are carcasses
Of dead horses poor things
And 49 just lying there
Imagine how that brings
Fear and consternation
To surviving horses who
Must be feeling terrible
Not knowing what to do
Kentucky State Police
Have charged him
For all the horses dead
Unnotified just lying there
Really all is said
And done
so many looking grim
Emaciated and clearly on their last legs
And all this down to him
His reply was be was trading
Selling to privateers
Or if not selling to slaughterhouses
In Canada it appears
America has no slaughterhouses for horses
As we know
So Browning ships them
Of to Canada live exports
A body blow
Cruelty is everywhere
He is cited so
With 15 counts of cruelty
And more to come we know
There clearly is no love lost
For these individual souls
Who clearly are now suffering
Without any controls
Heartlessness apparently
Unfeeling and dry-eyed
Just look into these horses eyes
They would have relied
On him he is the owner
And neglect is what we see
And the end result the slaughterhouse
Which is never the place to be
And in that poor state
Sickly weak shipped off far away
To probably die on the journey
Compassion not today
Thank goodness at least the Authorities
Have deemed to take control
As for the RSPCA
They have dug a deeper hole
For themselves and the poor horses
