The cove the 1st of september
The boats go out each day
Drive fishing is the answer
It pulls our
eyes away
From the murder on the high seas
Other little boats
With hand held harpoons and floaters
And listen to the quotes
A beautiful dall porpoise
Its under the radar
All eyes are on Taiji
And now we see the torture
And its happening to me
And all my poor old family
We are going through it here
Harpooned and left to struggle
To bleed to scream
Our fear
Made worse because so many of us
Are suffering here As well
We were just in heaven and
Now we are in hell
Bleeding out and smarting
The salt water cuts into
Then they hook our floaters
Into the boat
A clue
On the deck we are writhing dying
Slowly we
Are dying in our hundreds
But No where near Taiji
But all your eyes are on their drive
All your tears with them
All your hopes that they will
Stop
What about us each gem
Each Porpoise each bottlenose dolphin
all
Feel the pangs of death
But we die in the darkness
With our last long breath
Before the big tsunami
Thousands of us did die
Quietly out of earshot
Nobody knew why
Nobody cared about us
Only in Taiji
Does anybody think of us
And really where we be
So we are in Iwate
500 miles away
And are really going through it
They do make us pay
Up to an hour to perish
The suffering is wild
And that is everyone of us
Even the youngest child
IWate 500 miles to the North
120 miles North of Fukushima
And no testing whatsoever has been undertaken
On porpoises a factor to remember
