Minnesota wolves(Whilst waiting for my taxi to Heathrow)

The so called
hunters
brave men
with their high powered rifles
they go out
in the wilderness
and blow the wolves away
without a doubt
parade them as the vanquished
shot to pieces in a hail
of bullets with these unfair
odds then hunting men can’t fail
Minnesota cares so little
for its wild one’s who
live and die within its confines
it is their place too
they were not given life
to just be shot as man decides
murdered by the heartless
creation confides
with those of us, who appreciate
how wolves take their place
in what is the true wilderness
and this fact we now face
cold hearted soulless evil men
who take out wild souls
those I pen,
those sweet wild
wolves who do no wrong
who lived the wild life
all along
clearly envied by those sh**ts
who feel the need to shoot to bits
our furry friends those souls who know
their place and can live in the snow
The First People, know them well
they know their strengths
and they do tell
the Minnesota people
that
killing wolves is not where
they’re at
its a foolish senseless pastime and
will so afflict our precious land
but of course the mindless
have no care
their hearts are hard
their souls are rare
stony silence from that brood
who in their own blood lust
seem stewed
